Future for Zehlendorf-Mitte: ISEK presents new development concepts!
An important event is imminent: The integrated urban development concept (ISEK) for Zehlendorf-Mitte will soon be presented. After a detailed analysis and a variety of public feedback, concrete measures and development goals were formulated that promise an improved future for this area. It is particularly important that these proposals were developed in close coordination with the responsible specialist offices of the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district.
The district councilor Patrick Steinhoff emphasized the importance of citizen participation throughout the process: “A good year of ideas were accepted by ideas by citizens and visitors to the Zehlendorfer Mitte. Measures were developed that are worthy of funding and will ensure that Zehlendorf-Mitte becomes even more attractive and worthy of life. Thanks to it! Area representative are accepted.
Details on the final event
The official presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Citizens' Hall of the City Hall in Zehlendorf. The citizens' hall is located on the 1st floor of the town hall, Kirchstraße 1-3, 14163 Berlin. Alternatively, access via the 2nd entrance Teltower Damm 18 is possible. This event offers the citizens the opportunity to discover the results of the ISEK at various stations and in an active dialogue with the representatives of the district and the S.T.E.R.N. GmbH.
A special feature of this event is the live interaction, which gives the participants the opportunity to ask questions directly and give suggestions. This not only promotes exchange, but also shows how important the opinions and ideas of the citizens are in urban development.
The ISEK aims to be included in the urban development program "Living centers and quarters" (LZQ), with the aim of implementing the first measures from 2025. This is an important step to make long-term improvements in Zehlendorf-Mitte reality.
There is a corresponding solution for those interested who cannot personally participate in the event: the results are also made available online. Details will soon be published on the participation platform of the State of Berlin Mein.berlin.de and on the website of the district. So everyone has the opportunity to find out more about the developments and to take part in the further discussion.
This is an exciting moment for all residents and interested parties to actively participate in the design of their living environment. The event promises to become a lively place of the exchange and to offer an insight into the future developments in the district. The integration of citizens' ideas and proposals shows the commitment of the authorities to make the urban development processes transparent and participatory. Further details on this topic can be read on the parties of the district to find out more about developments in Zehlendorf-Mitte.
