Fein stands for voluntary commitment in neighborhoods and supports small projects by committed people in the neighborhood.
Long version
The neighborhood conference is an important part of participation and social life in a district. It enables the citizen to exchange information about new planning projects and news from the neighborhood with local actors and the administration, and to decide on the allocation of funds from the funding pot. This funding pot supports voluntary commitment in the neighborhoods and provides material funds to implement small projects. These can be, for example, plant actions, hopes, pumpkin carving or beautification actions. A maximum of € 2,000 are available per application, and about three projects can be implemented in each district region.
The neighborhood conference is not only a place of exchange, but also a platform to promote and support the commitment and initiative of the citizens: inside in the neighborhood.
In addition, a round table is planned at the neighborhood conference, in which the regular round tables Lankwitz Ost and Lankwitz discuss the south end of improvements in the living environment and a safe coexistence of young and old. These round tables are committed to the development of neighborhood and the improvement of the living environment and attach great importance to activating the people living in the neighborhoods.
It is hoped that the upcoming neighborhood conference will help strengthen the social and cultural diversity of the neighborhood and the quality of life of the residents: to improve inside.

The tradition of neighborhood conferences goes back to participatory democracy initiatives that arose in the 1960s.
