Big neighborhood festival in the Lankwitz community park – be there!

On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Lankwitz community park will be transformed into a lively festival area under the motto “Celebrate, get to know, experience the neighborhood”. The event, organized by the Kamenzer Damm regional coordination, starts at 2:00 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. The aim is to discover neighborhood life and strengthen neighborly relationships. For this purpose, over 30 local actors have put together a diverse program that is suitable for all age groups.

Activities include an air track mat for children, a human table football table and numerous participation and information stands. The event is culinary enriched by two food trucks as well as the Grillhütte 46 and the mobile ice cream counter from the Mana Eismanufaktur. At 6:00 p.m. there will be a final concert with local music projects, including the Lankwitz Horns wind orchestra and other musical contributions from KRISTOFFER, DAS THEATER and MOZAIK. The dancing program of the Ukrainian association Aldera e.V. also promises to be a highlight.

Funding and financing

The event is funded as part of the “Strengthening Large Berlin Housing Estates” program, supported by the Senate Department for Urban Development, Building and Housing. The event is an excellent opportunity to celebrate the diversity and cohesion within the neighborhood and to make new acquaintances.
