Festpark am Teltowkanal, 12207 Berlin, Deutschland - On June 11, 2025, district mayor Maren Schellenberg was able to look back on an extremely successful 71st Steglitzer Week. The event, which opened on May 23 with a traditional barrel beer tapping, attracted numerous visitors and convinced with a varied program. A total of 18 event days offered a wide range of highlights. The supporting program included the 27th duck season of primary schools, the 69th Lichterfeld circuit race and the 29th Steglitz foliage. The Steglitzer week 2025 took place as a folk festival on the Teltow Canal and extended with two main carpenters for several weeks: the festival park in Lichterfelde and the Steglitz city park. Visitors were able to look forward to a wide range of cultural offers, including exhibitions, concerts and events, especially for children. Daily free concerts on various stages contributed to the attractiveness of the festival.

A central component of the Steglitzer week was the awarding of the 14th cabaret award, which took place on Pentecost Sunday, June 8th. Eight talented young artists performed and were rated by a jury. The audience had the opportunity to have a say in the placements. The dance formation "KPC" of the Kreuzkirche Lankwitz won first place and received prize money of 500 euros in addition to the glass cup. The second and third place went to Elsdeer (300 euros) and the duo blue -violet (200 euros).
All finalists were rewarded with a entry fee and a large fabric to which the event made even more familiar and warm.
A total of 70 events and 60 highlights were carried out at the Steglitzer week, which once more shows how important this festival is for the community. The reactions of the visitors were consistently positive and reflect the great interest and connection with the cultural offers in Steglitz-Zehlendorf.
