Berlin Zehlendorf -Mitte: Funding program living centers and quarters 2025 - First steps and kick -off event

This is a desirable development for our district and will help strengthen the attractiveness of the location.

By adding to the urban development program, certain requirements must be met, including the creation of an integrated urban development concept (ISEK), which is currently GmbH is developed. This process includes the interdisciplinary analysis of the neighborhood, the participation of residents, traders and local actors as well as the consideration of topics such as climate protection and climate adaptation.

An important possibility of participation for the citizens is the upcoming kick -off event on November 29, 2023 in the Citizens' Hall of the Zehlendorf town hall. There is an interactive Gallery Walk, in which the participants have the opportunity to directly with representatives of the district office and the S.T.E.R.N. GmbH to discuss. In addition, there will also be an online participation option via the State of Berlin's participation platform.

The involvement of the public in this process is crucial to take into account the needs and ideas of the residents and to create a sustainable development concept for the area. It is therefore encouraging to know that the Berliners have the opportunity to actively participate in the design of the future of their residential area.
