The Spandau city library becomes a playground for creative minds! On October 9, 2024, from 4 p.m., the district central library is transformed into a laboratory for environmentally friendly cleaning agents. Under the direction of Trail & Error, one of the hottest intercultural collectives in recent years, everything is about how to get your own apartment clean in a sustainable way - without chemicals!

The workshop entitled "Make cleaning agents yourself" offers the perfect opportunity to put your own household on green feet. At a time when we should deal more than ever with environmentally conscious action, classic household tricks from soda to soda to vinegar are presented here. And best of all: it's not just about theory! The participants are integrated directly into the practical production of their own, poison -free cleaners.

practical tips for every household

Anyone who thinks that sustainable cleaning agents would be expensive or complicated will be taught better here! In the workshop, the participants learn how easy it is to produce homemade cleaning solutions with everyday ingredients such as core soap and citric acid. The citrus all-purpose cleaner will be a special challenge-a real all-rounder who even says stubborn fat and lime! And not to forget: creating a liquid detergent for the washing machine that both keeps the laundry fresh and good.

However, the participants should not forget to bring two vessels to fill the homemade cleaning agents - it is diligently stirred and mixed!
