Spandauer volunteer agency is expanding advice on district libraries

The Spandau volunteer agency has expanded its range of advice for citizens who are interested in voluntary commitment. In cooperation with the Spandau city library, advice dates are now being offered not only at the traditional location in the old town of Spandau, but also in all four district libraries. This pilot project is intended to offer people in Spandau more opportunities to find out about voluntary commitment.

The district libraries in Falkenhagener Feld, Haselhorst, Heerstraße and Kladow serve as additional locations for personal advice from the Spandau volunteer agency. By expanding the offer, access to information about voluntary commitment is made easier and gives citizens the opportunity to find out more and ask questions directly on site.

The appointments for the consultations can be agreed directly via the Spandauer Freiligienagentur, either by email to team@die-spandauer.de or by phone on 030 2359 11 777. The agency has been committed to promoting and supporting voluntary engagement in the city for years. The expansion of the advisory offer to the district libraries underlines their efforts to facilitate access to information and resources for voluntary commitment.

The Spandau volunteer agency focuses intensively on the topic of volunteering by advising, networking and teaching. She also initiates workshops, events and further training to further promote and strengthen volunteering. The agency is promoted by the Unionhilfswerk Berlin Foundation and the District Budget Foundation, whereby the volunteer office and the Integration Management department of the district office take care of the project.
