Spandau moves: New movement and music project for children and adolescents

Under the motto "Move to Music", the Spandau district enables children and young people to develop through movement and music. The "Spandau moves mobile" are equipped with different materials such as balls, sound shells, music boxes and drums and regularly visit different locations in Spandau.

District Councilor Tanja Franzke emphasizes the positive effects of this campaign: "The children get to know their bodies through movement, improve their motor skills and develop a better body feeling. Music promotes cognitive development, supports emotional expression and can have a positive effect on the mood."

The two "Spandau moves Mobile" were built individually with financial support from the AOK Nordost and the Senate Department for Science, Health and Care. Schools, district centers and youth leisure facilities have the opportunity to borrow the supporters for events or a certain period of time.
