Students*Inner budget 2025: Learn democracy and design projects!

Attention, Spandau! An exciting project for the future of our children is in the starting blocks! With the student budget in 2025, pupils have the terrific opportunity to experience democracy up close and to shape their own projects. Every participating school can look forward to a whopping 1,500 euros - and the best thing: The kids decide how to use the money!

Tanja Franzke, the passionate district councilor for youth: "We want our young people to experience how participation works. Our democracy is exciting and should be actively shaped!" If you believe her, the kids in Spandau are not only creative minds, but also real decision -makers!

what's next?

In the future, four other schools will be included in the exciting project and can look forward to a three -year funding duration! That sounds like a huge opportunity for primary schools, integrated secondary schools, high schools and all other public schools in the district. Participation is not only a great adventure - it also forms the opinion and the skills of young people!

But that's not all! Schools can look forward to valuable support. The youth participation service center is not only available with advice and action, but also offers exciting workshops and practical materials. In this way, the students not only learn how to deal with money, but also how they can effectively implement their ideas - theory meets practice here!
