Cup for the new sports hall of the Christoph-Földerich elementary school

New milestone for a lively school community in Berlin

The Christoph-Földerich primary school in the Wilhelmstadt district in Berlin will soon be enriched for a modern sports hall. This development is part of the urban development program "Living centers and quarters", which specifically serves to improve the school environment and the community. The new sports hall extends over two floors and addresses the needs of a music -hugging primary school, which is of great importance for the school community.

The sports hall should not only serve for physical education, but also become a place for cultural and community events, which will make school contribute to a center of social life in the district. The judgment for completion of the roof structure will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. by the district councilor for Education, Culture, Sport and Facility Management, Dr. Carola Brückner, held. This is a festive moment that honors the progress of the project and symbolizes the cohesion in the community.

"Such projects are of immense importance for the educational institutions and the local environment. They not only promote the development of the students, but also strengthen social ties in the district," explains Dr. Brückner. The end of the construction work is aimed at for autumn 2025, which further increases the anticipation for the versatile use of the premises. The new institutions will offer students the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and live out creatively.
