New reading café in Spandau: Cozy oasis for bookworm is created!

The reading café in the Spandau city library, a popular place for reading and working, is comprehensively redesigned in order to better meet the needs of its visitors. Since 2001, the reading café has been a real meeting point on the first floor of the library, which is housed in the former imperial post office. Now the city library is planning a redesign with new furniture, an improved room layout and an inviting ambience. The conversion should be completed by the end of February 2025, the Spandau city library informs in a press release.

In the course of the renovation, the room is designed so that it can be used in many ways. A central table will form the heart where visitors can come together in group work or when playing together. Single jobs in quiet areas are also to be set up.
