Creative without perspective: Workshop for painting for all the senses in Spandau!

in Berlin-Spandau will take place in the coming weeks exciting artistic events that promote creative examination of art and people with disabilities. On December 3 and 6, 2024, the Spandau city library invites you to a unique creative workshop with the blind artist Silja Korn. Under the title "Kunterbunt is also there", the participants can develop their artistic skills, equipped with blinds. Korn, which blindly blindly at the age of twelve, will accompany the participants and help them to experiment with different colors and techniques. The workshop is available free of charge for all interested parties, regardless of visual impairment, but participation is only possible due to limited capacities with prior registration, such as berlin.de

At the same time, significant exhibitions also take place in Spandau. From October 18 to 2024, the citadel shows works by 40 artists who were selected as part of the “Metamorphosis - comparison between inspiration and exhibit” project. The exhibition is the result of a call from the Spandau artist (ASK) working group, who invited creative people from Berlin to present their interpretations of existing works of art. Over 100 entries were spotted, and the jury, led by cultural councilor Dr. Carola Brückner, selected a variety of forms of expression, from painting to room installations. Visitors can marvel at the works free of charge, and during the vernissage, an art prize of 2500 euros is awarded to the best exhibit, as berliner-woche.de
