Coop festival of high schools inspires students and audiences

On February 24, 2024, the first major co-op festival of high schools took place in the Spandau music school. Over 150 students from the partner schools (Carl-Friedrich-von-Siemens-Gymnasium, Carlo-Schmid secondary school, Kant-Gymnasium and School on the Haveldüne) met to make music together and get to know each other. The final concert offered the enthusiastic audience a diverse range of musical performances from rock bands to classic orchestras to big bands.

Educational cooperation is an important pillar of music school work, emphasized Dr. Brückner, deputy mayor and district councilor for education, culture, sports and facility management. These collaborations enable every child to receive high -quality musical educational offers and to experience self -efficacy. The Spandau music school is striving to expand existing cooperation with daycare centers, primary and high schools in order to enable as many children and adolescents as possible.
