Havel elementary school: A school finally gets its name

The primary school at Goltzstraße 25, which was previously only known as the "31st school (primary school)", has received its own name since the beginning of the year-the "Havel primary school". This name was decided by the school conference and then approved by the Spandau district office in December 2023.

On February 23, 2024, the school community of the Havel elementary school celebrated its name festival as part of the mini anniversary "100 day Havel primary school" with a big school festival. The new school logo was presented and the school anthem was sung.

District Councilor Dr. Carola Brückner was positive about the choice of name and emphasized the importance of his own name for identification with the school. Headmistress Constanze Rosengart was particularly pleased with the connection to the Havel as a well -known landmark in Spandau and emphasized the diverse opportunities to include the topic of Havel in the classroom.

The choice of the name "Havel primary school" not only reflects the connection to the Havelstadt, but also creates a common identity and strengthens the feeling of togetherness within the school community.
