Healthy Musikschule®: Action Day on January 13, 2024 in Spandau
On January 13, 2024, the Spandau music school organizes a public day of action on the topic of "Fit with music" in the theater hall of the music school, Carl-Schurz-Str. 59, entrance via Jüdenstraße 54. On this day, the Spandau music school also receives the "Healthy Music School®" certificate, which has been offered by the "Healthy Music School®" project since 2009 and is funded by the Techniker Krankenkasse (TK). The aim of the project is to integrate the knowledge of musician medicine and music physiology into music school lessons and prevent health stress preventively. The day of action is aimed at both music teachers and all interested students. The workshops are free of charge and planned one after the other, so that the participants can take part in all workshops. The daily program includes various workshops, including "Applied Music Physiology: Making Music Complaint - Learn Easier" and "First aid with stage fright".
The Musikschule Spandau sets a positive sign of health and well -being of music students and teachers with the day of action and certification as a “Healthy Music School®”. The integration of knowledge of musician medicine and music physiology into music lessons is an important step in preventing health stress. Especially at a time when performance and stress in everyday life of students and teachers increase, it is important to take measures to promote health.
The daily program offers participants the opportunity to take part in various workshops, cover the aspects of music physiology, relaxation techniques and use the pressure to perform. The presentation of the certificate "Healthy Music School®" by City Councilor Dr. Carola Brückner underlines the importance of the commitment of the Spandau music school for the health and well -being of the pupils, students and music teachers.
The action day and the certification as a "healthy music school®" represent an important step to promote health in the musical environment and to strengthen the awareness of the importance of health prevention in music lessons. The Spandau music school thus makes a valuable contribution to health promotion in the local community.
