The BBQ Food Festival will take place in the Berliner-Berg-Brewery on July 15th and 16th. Here, visitors not only expect the classic sausage from the grill, but also a variety of international specialties. In addition to Thai and Memphis Style BBQ, Argentine steaks, Jamaican chicken, Chinese crepes, cocktails and craft beer are also offered. A highlight of the festival is the "Open Hands" performance, which takes place on Sunday from 3 p.m. The stage program with deaf comedians is also particularly impressive, whose sign language is translated simultaneously for all hearing. The festival starts at 12 p.m. and admission is 2 euros.
On the same weekend, the Italian Pizza Festival attracts the "Jules B-Part" in the park on the Gleisdreieck. Here 15 Berlin pizzerias present their best creations. In addition to classic Margherita and Marinara, extraordinary varieties, such as vegan or gluten -free, are also offered. The presence of real pizza masters of the "Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana" from Naples, which will share their knowledge of the preparation of dough and real Neapolitan pizza in workshops, is particularly interesting. The festival takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and admission costs 3 euros.
From July 17th to July 30th, the Adlon offers the opportunity to discover Thai cuisine. In cooperation with the Sindhorn Hotel Kempinski in Bangkok, the luxury hotel serves country -typical specialties. The chef Chatsorn Pratoomma creates a varied menu with dishes such as Yum Hua Plee (banana flowers, chilipast dressing, egg) and Nuea aroi (rump steak, red curry sauce, pickled shallots). The dishes can be enjoyed either in the five-speed menu for 110 euros or à la carte. In addition, there are daily changing daily dishes for 28 euros as well as soups and fruity cocktails with lychi, ginger, edible flowers and yuzu-puree. The Adlon also offers an exotic treat for breakfast - an omelette with basil and shallots, served with chilli sauce. If you are traveling, you can take snacks like Thai Style Beef Jery with chili sauce in the "Adlon to Go Shop". The button of Thailand takes place in the Adlon Hotel in Mitte.
