Summer festival in Berlin: Cultural experiences and live concerts on September 1st

The sun shines over Berlin and officially heralds the summer season. But this year there is something special that will inspire cultural -interested and music lovers alike. The Department of Art and Culture of the Pankow district as well as renowned cultural institutions such as the honeycomb, the theater under the roof and the ground floor cordially invite you to the summer festival on the cultural island on Danziger Strasse.

On September 1st, Danziger Straße 101 in Berlin will be the scene of a variety of cultural experiences that are amazed, discovering, discovering and participating. Admission is free, and district mayor Dr. Cordelia Koch will open the festival.

A highlight of the summer festival is the percussion show of the Béla Bartók music school, followed by live concerts, workshops, creative offers and a versatile gastronomic offer. The stage is played by various artists, including grooving percussion, the bird of freedom, a charming jazz folk act from Storm Dog and a funky groove by Groove of the Nile.

In addition, visitors can take part in various workshops, such as the portrait and ceramic workshop in the Kunsthaus e. V. or the construction workshop in the Gallery ground floor. An exhibition entitled "Extended Forms and Flowing Bodies" in the Galerie Partterre invites you to visit, and a tour of the exhibition is even offered.

For nature lovers there is the opportunity to find out about the neighborhood garden project of city plants, while chess enthusiasts in the Prater Gallery can pursue their passion. Furthermore, an exciting leadership to art in public space in the Ernst-Thälmann Park is offered, accompanied by an illustrator who will draw minimum portraits of the visitors.
