Solidarity march in Berlin: 700 people protest against anti -Semitism and show support for Israel

according to a report by www.bild.de ,

On Sunday, around 700 people took part in the demonstration "Jewish Life Berlin" in City West to protest against anti -Semitism and support Israel. The participants, accompanied by over 500 police officers, moved from Wittenbergplatz to Lehniner Platz. They swiveled Israel flags, held up signs and played loud music to show solidarity with Israel and the victims of the Hamas terror.

As a citizen of Berlin, it is encouraging to see how so many people stand up against anti -Semitism and for the support of Israel. In view of the growing tensions and increasing anti -Semitism in the city, this expression of solidarity is an important sign of the Jewish community in Berlin.

rabbi Yehuda Teichtal (51) from the Jewish community of Chabad in Berlin emphasized the need to strengthen the Jewish life in Berlin and pointed out that even more had to be done. This message underlines the importance of expressions of solidarity and the commitment to the security and well -being of the Jewish community in Berlin.

It is crucial that the Berlin community continues to stand together and that tolerance and respect for all cultures and religions are committed. Such demonstrations send a strong signal that hopefully contributes to a climate of acceptance and respect in the city.
