Hardly rented, already ripped off: after moving into a Wilmersdorfer apartment, a sex worker should suddenly pay 5000 euros instead of the agreed 1850 euros.

When she refused, the landlord struck, she says - and finally even 10,000 euros rent from her.

District Court, Hall 537. The landlord on the dock: Amer M. (31) from Syria. "Soldier" by profession, he says. Arrested on February 1, 2023, since then behind bars.

The indictment: predatory extortion and dangerous bodily harm in December 2022. He is silent. What interests him are his luxury watches: "Why was two rolex away from me?

She sits on the witness chair: Nguyen S. (48). The Vietnamese "erotic masseuse" indicates as a profession. In December 2022, she rented the apartment on Bayerische Strasse from the accused. "In order to offer sexual services and massages commercially," says the indictment. "I gave him the agreed rent in cash," says the elegant woman in the Chanel blouse.

At first he was nice. But then he started to regularly spend the night in the apartment against her will. "He hit me and asked 5000 euros if I wanted to stay," she says. "Otherwise he ensures that I leave Germany and die my family."

According to the indictment, there was a thorough impact on the face, a blow with a pistol. The claim was increased to 10,000 euros, the witness said. But she did not get involved. Today she lives in Saxony-Anhalt. Judgment on August 3.
