Series of arson attacks in Berlin: Clan member of the Remmo family charged as the main suspect

Title: Clan member Nasser Rammou charged for series of arson attacks on cars in Berlin

A 44-year-old member of the notorious Clan family Remmo, Nasser Rammou, was charged by the Berlin public prosecutor's office for a series of arson attacks on cars in the districts of Neukölln and Treptow. The man, who was already a criminal record for drug trade in 1995, is said to be responsible for a total of twelve arson. The indictment was submitted to the Berlin district court.

like Sebastian Büchner, spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor, said that Nasser Rammou, together with partially unknown midfare, is said to have set fire to a number of motor vehicles between December 22, 2020 and February 14, 2021. The arson attacks mainly took place in the districts of Neukölln, Kreuzberg, Lankwitz, Mariendorf and Treptow. These are areas in the Berlin city area.

It is particularly noteworthy that Nasser Rammou was still under the leadership supervision of the judiciary at the time of the arson attacks and was borne by a squirrel. This regularly transmitted location data, so that the investigators could understand their whereabouts at the fire locations. So it was relatively easy for the authorities to transfer it.

Nasser Rammou is no stranger to crime history in Berlin. The father of five children has already had numerous convictions. He is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence for drug and weapon trade. In May 2022, he was also sentenced to a prison sentence of two years and six months for assault.

In November 2020, he hunted on Chechens with other clan relatives at the Gesundbrunnen Center and seriously injured them. At that time he was already wearing a booth, which should serve its surveillance.

The motif for the arson attacks is currently still unclear. The Berlin public prosecutor stated that the reason was unknown. A process date has not yet been determined. Nasser Rammou threatens up to ten years in prison if he should be convicted.

The list of crimes and convicts by Nasser Rammou is long. As early as 1995, he was first sentenced to a youth prison for four years as a 18-year-old for violating the Narcotics Act (Heroin). In the following years, further offenses such as coercion, dangerous bodily harm, resistance, assault, drug trafficking and forgery of documents were charged, for which he received prison terms.

In February 2018, Nasser Rammou was equipped with a booth after his release.
