Serious car accident in Prenzlauer Berg: five injured after a taxi collision

In early Saturday morning, a serious traffic accident occurred in Prenzlauer Berg, in which five people were injured. A taxi collided with another vehicle at the Danziger Straße/Prenzlauer Allee intersection, which led to the taxi overturned and stayed on the roof. Fortunately, all occupants were able to free themselves from the vehicles.

The fire brigade treated four injuries on site while a seriously injured person was taken to a hospital. The intersection had to be closed for several hours in order to be able to carry out the accident recording and cleaning up.

The residents of Prenzlauer Berg are disturbed by the accident, since there are rarely such serious traffic accidents in their quarter. The authorities therefore warn of the increased caution in road traffic, especially at highly frequented intersections such as Danziger Straße/Prenzlauer Allee.
