Social Conservation Ordinance in Spandau: Preserving social cohesion
The Spandau district office recently launched a household survey to examine the introduction of a social conservation regulation in four areas of the district. The affected areas are "Germersheimer Platz", "Freiheit", "Rudolf Wissel-Grandsiedlung" and "Rohrdamm/Siemensdamm".
The social conservation regulations aim to protect the resident population in these areas and to prevent displacement by expensive modernizations. In order to collect the required data, a household survey is carried out. The S.T.E.R.N. GmbH company of the careful urban renewal was commissioned to carry out.
City Councilor Thorsten Schatz emphasized the importance of the survey to preserve social cohesion: "Participation in the budget survey is an important step to preserve social cohesion in our quarters and to counteract the repression. We rely on the support of the residents to create a well -founded basis for possible measures."
The questionnaires are currently being distributed and can be returned voluntarily and free of charge by August 23, 2024. Alternatively, it is possible to fill out the questionnaire online in German and English. The data collected is evaluated anonymously in accordance with the Berlin Data Protection Act (BlndSG).
In addition to information on the living conditions and the social Situation, the living life, rental amount, modernizations and the use of the local infrastructure are also queried in the questionnaire.
Two contact persons are available for further information on the examination:
