A dramatic incident shook the passengers of a BVG street railway line in the Marzahn district of Berlin on Tuesday afternoon. Around 12 p.m. there was a collision between a coach and the yellow tram car on line 18 on the avenue of the cosmonauts. As berlin-live.de , several injuries were initially reported, which led to a large-scale use of the fire brigade and police. 28 forces were supported by a rescue helicopter and heavy rescue technology.
The Berlin fire brigade quickly found that luckily no people were trapped. Only minor injuries occurred. A total of thirteen people were examined at the scene of the accident, nine of whom could be treated on an outpatient basis with slight injuries directly on site. Two other patients were brought to a clinic for further examination. During the rescue work, there were considerable traffic restrictions in the vicinity of the accident. The BVG informed that line 18 is currently irregularly wrong because of the incident, with diversions between Landsberger Allee/Blumberger Damm and Allee of the cosmonauts.
