Winter reaches back to Berlin and Brandenburg! After an entertaining spring, the German Weather Service (DWD) reports considerable snow in the region for Thursday. As rbb24 reports, the southern parts of Brandenburg mostly move from rain and large parts of Berlin and the northern half of Brandenburg Snow will be affected. Persistent snowfall can be expected by the evening, which could significantly impair the road conditions. The temperatures vary between a mild degree in the north and fresh seven degrees in the south.
Already on Wednesday the weather in Berlin and Brandenburg showed quite changeable, with temporary sun rays and maximum temperatures of four to six degrees. Strong winds with gusts of up to 60 kilometers per hour caused additional turbulence in the northern half of Brandenburg. According to the DWD, the temperatures drop to zero to minus two degrees on Thursday night, which can lead to dangerous smoothness locally. From midnight, dense clouds are absorbed, and the first snowfall is no longer distant in the southern parts of the country, such as notes.

On Friday, the winter weather is preserved, with further snow and pear show shower, and the temperatures only reach a maximum of two degrees. Drivers are asked to exercise special caution, because the winter road conditions could continue to worsen by the weekend. According to the meteorologist Julia Tuschy from the DWD, up to five centimeters of fresh snow is expected, which could significantly exacerbate the situation.
