In the dramatic million process between the former director of the RBB, Patricia Schlesinger (63), and the ARD broadcaster, a new legal dispute was opened on Wednesday at the Berlin district court. The RBB raises serious allegations against Schlesinger and demands 1.78 million euros in damages due to suspected mismanagement and nepotism during their term. Schlesinger himself has taken the first legal steps and demands around 18,300 euros as a so-called "pensioner", which is due to a former employee under certain conditions if the employment relationship ends, as BZ Berlin reported.

The allegations against Schlesinger are shocking: from exorbitant salaries and champagne dinner parties to a failed major project, a "digital media house", where the costs rose to dizzying heights of 311 million euros.
