Warning of the risk of injury: supermarkets in Berlin and Brandenburg!

On Tuesday afternoon, the beverage manufacturer Refresco published a nationwide recall campaign that affects numerous supermarkets in Berlin and Brandenburg. The apple spritzer sold under different brands could burst in the bottles due to too high pressure and thus cause injuries.

If bottles are bloated or the content appears cloudy, they should be disposed of immediately. As a precaution, inconspicuous bottles with certain minimum preservation data should not be consumed as a precaution. Customers who bought bottles affected can get their money back, even without receipt.

The affected apple spritzer was sold at various supermarket chains, including Edeka, Marktkauf, Netto, Penny and Rewe. It is different batches with a best before date towards the end of the year.

It is recommended to observe the manufacturer's information and, if in doubt, to do without the consumption of the affected products. The security of consumers is a top priority, and the supermarkets work to take the complained products out of sale.
