VfB Hermsdorf: 125 years full of success and committed community
VfB Hermsdorf recently celebrated its 125th anniversary and is one of the oldest clubs in Berlin. With 3563 members, including 1881 young people, the association offers a wide range of sports in 17 sports in 23 Reinickendorfer sports halls. Founded in 1899, VfB Hermsdorf survived two world wars and was founded in 1947. Since 1949 he has been called VfB Hermsdorf e.V. The association has won numerous national and international victories over the years and will honor 37 medalists in mid -July.
VfB Hermsdorf thanked all coaches, supervisors, square, sponsors and supporters who were committed to the community and the association for over five generations. The district mayor also praised the “local heroes” of the association, which shines through their commitment in sport and in the acquisition of young talent. Cyclists covered 160 kilometers on the Berlin Mauerweg for the club's anniversary.A table with information about the development of the membership of the association over the past few years could provide an interesting insight into growth dynamics.
