Safety in road traffic: Free pedelec courses for adults in Berlin
adults improve their pedelec skills in Berlin transport school
The youth traffic school Reinickendorf (JVS) offers adults the opportunity to improve their skills when driving a pedelec. On Tuesday, August 6, 2024 and Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., interested parties can take part in these courses. The JVS is located in Senftenberger Ring 25 A in 13435 Berlin.
Pedelecs are increasingly gaining popularity, but many new users underestimate the effects that driving with a pedelec has. The higher speed and the higher weight of the pedelec can extend the braking distance and make handling difficult. That is why these courses are a valuable opportunity for adults to drive more safely on road traffic.
The education city councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) is pleased with the offer of the pedelec courses and emphasizes the importance of safety in road traffic. The cooperation between the JVS and the state transport guard contributes directly to the accident prevention.
Interested parties can take part in a theoretical and practical part of the course to practice driving with a pedelec. Various pedelecs with 26 inches and 28 inches are available. Each course offers space for six to eight participants. To participate, a telephone registration with Ms. Buchmann at the number (030) 416 72 72 is required.
