Senator Joe Chialo von der CDU besuchte gemeinsam mit weiteren Vertretern der Senatsverwaltung und des Bezirksamtes Kultureinrichtungen im Rahmen von „Kultur vor Ort“. The youth art school atrium in the Märkisches Quarter offers insights into the work of the largest youth art school in Germany. In addition to an event hall, the Fontane-Haus also houses a district library, rooms of the music school and the adult education center. The Reinickendorf Museum is aimed primarily at children and adolescents, while the Humboldt Library in Tegel offers information for school, work and leisure as well as a Humbot Makerspace for children and families.

The district's cultural offers were presented during the visit and show that Reinickendorf is culturally beamed far beyond the district borders. The visit was an opportunity to honor and emphasize the diversity and importance of the cultural institutions in the district.
