A brilliant day for Reinickendorf: The district was officially awarded the title "Fairtrade Town" today! This is not just a certificate - it is a bright sign of a strong commitment to fair trade and social justice. Together with schools, churches, associations, retailers and restaurants, Reinickendorf has fulfilled the Fairtrade criteria. A real milestone for the community that aims to advance the principles of the 2030 agenda!

The WoW effect was noticeable when Manfred Holz, the honorary ambassador of Fairtrade Deutschland e.V., crowned the ceremony with the handover of the certification certificate. The guests were enthusiastic and had the opportunity to taste fairly traded products at the coordinator for municipal development policy. Not only the delicious variety of fair trade was presented here, but also the deep background of the Fairtrade engagement and the 2030 agenda in Reinickendorf.
