Together with schools, churches, associations, retailers and restaurants, Reinickendorf has fulfilled the Fairtrade criteria. A real milestone for the community that aims to advance the principles of the 2030 agenda!
The WoW effect was noticeable when Manfred Holz, the honorary ambassador of Fairtrade Deutschland e.V., crowned the ceremony with the handover of the certification certificate. The guests were enthusiastic and had the opportunity to taste fairly traded products at the coordinator for municipal development policy. Not only the delicious variety of fair trade was presented here, but also the deep background of the Fairtrade engagement and the 2030 agenda in Reinickendorf.

"This award is not just a title! It is a clear confession of our community to be responsible and ethical action," enthused district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner.
