Reinickendorf celebrates children's rights: a day full of joy and knowledge

A radiant day in Reinickendorf! The first "Reinickendorfer Children's Rights Day" attracted an incredible 500 primary school children, who followed the colorful presentations over their rights with shining eyes and broad smiles. This event was not only a student festival, but also an absolute hit in terms of education and rights of law!

"It is just great to see how enthusiastic the children are and at the same time learn so much about their rights," enthused Alexander Ewers, the district councilor for youth and family (SPD). "The success of this day has once again shown us how important such events are! Children's rights are not a secondary topic - they affect us all!"

an unforgettable stage program

The day was filled with a spectacular stage program that captivated both children and adults. Teachers and accompanying persons agreed: the organization was exemplary! Not only was there a lot of laughter, but also entertaining knowledge about children's rights.

After this resounding success, there was the exciting announcement: the "Children's Rights Day" becomes an annual tradition! The district plans to organize many other events of this kind in the coming years in order to give even more children the opportunity to deal with their rights and to develop a better understanding of it.

thanks to the participants

The Reinickendorf district office did not miss the opportunity to thank everyone involved. The children's and youth officer Leila Studier and the coordinators of the youth and family department, who made this day full of effort, were particularly emphasized.

The big goal? Make children's rights visible! They should not only be present in classrooms, but also in children's rooms and public facilities. The first step was taken - and that with a bang!
