New entrance zone in the Office for Social Eas Reinickendorf optimized service

On June 4, 2024, the newly created entrance zone in the Office for Social Affairs was officially opened in the south hall of the Reinickendorf town hall. The entrance zone is the result of a successful cooperation between the various departments of the district office and the Senate Chancellery in order to improve the service for applicants and beneficiaries. District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) emphasized the importance of a friendly and efficient service for the citizens and thanked everyone involved for their work. Social City Councilor Uwe Brockhausen (SPD) emphasized the importance of the input management and also thanked all contributors in implementing the new input zone.

The reorganization also includes a modern facility also a call system and a ticket machine for the waiting zone. Furthermore, four monitors were attached to the hallway to improve visitor control. These measures are intended to help shorten the waiting times and to make the work processes more efficient.

Jörg Dobrzinski, head of the Office for Social Affairs, spoke of a successful start of the reorganization. Already on the first day of the entrance zone, 100 out of a total of 170 preferential applicants could be served, which led to the equalization of the office hours and relief for the processing. The employees of the entrance zone were praised for their motivated use.

Overall, the introduction of the new entrance zone in the Office for Social Affairs shows a positive development in terms of service quality and efficiency. Due to the close cooperation of the various departments and the implementation of modern technologies, a noticeable improvement for the citizens could be achieved.
