In the historic children's room Museum Reinickendorf, a new showcase with five celluloid dolls from Hermsdorfer production (plant on Hillmannstrasse) from 1923-1927 was recently set up. Thankfully, the dolls were made available for the permanent exhibition by the loan by Gisela Beyer. The trademark of the Hermsdorfer Celluloid factory is a ladybug with the letters "Dada" on the back of the dolls. Interestingly, this logo was probably created independently of Dadaism.
