More money and bonuses for foster parents in Reinickendorf!

Last year, almost 60 children in Reinickendorf needed a loving home, but no foster family was found in the district for 14 of these children. Nursing parents in Berlin have received significantly more money since September. The educational allowance for children from zero to six years was increased from 300 euros to 420 euros per month. The flat rate for material expenses rose from 399 euros to 603 euros. In addition, the educational allowance for temporary foster families rose from 480 to 1470 euros.

The Akquise Group Child Day Care and Foster Child Aid in Reinickendorf continues to advertise new care. By the end of 2025 there is also a start bonus of 924 euros for care. Those who are already working in nursing were invited to a festival on Lake Tegel. This took place on September 20 on the site of the Berlin Canoe Club Borussia e.V.

Around 70 guests, including foster families and day care workers, took part in activities such as dragon boating. The increase in financial support and the start bonus were discussed at the festival. The employees now hope for more applications from people who are interested in short and long-term care.
