The Reinickendorf media competence center Meredo offers children and young people the opportunity to register for the exciting holiday offer "We are so colorful" at short notice. The project, which takes place in collaboration with the community accommodation for refugees in Bernauer Strasse, invites all interested parties in the last summer vacation week of August 26th. until 29.08.2024.
This year the street art project revolves around the topic of "fruit and vegetables". Children and adolescents have the opportunity to design creative motif ideas for the raised beds in the shared accommodation. Each participant can create their own motif templates and then spray them on records that will beautify the raised beds in the future. There is also the possibility to take the designed motifs home. The holiday project is aimed at all Reinickendorfer children and adolescents from the age of 11, including the young residents of the shared accommodation. Furthermore, an introduction to various street art techniques is planned, in which the participants become creative in teams of two. In addition, drinks and a lunch snack are included in the program.
The Meredo is committed to the holistic development of children and adolescents through creative, technological and media education activities. The focus is on the individual talents and interests of young people. The participants have the opportunity to have a say in which topics they are interested in and what they want to focus on. The aim of the project is to have fun experiencing community and making new friendships.
