Klangstraße: Music festival in Reinickendorf inspires with a diverse program and a new flair
Gemäß einem Bericht von www.berlin.de fand am vergangenen Freitag das Musikfestival „Klangstraße“ in Reinickendorf instead. The festival attracted around 2,000 visitors who gathered in various places along Residenzstrasse to listen to the music of 16 bands, solo musicians and ensembles. The traders of the area turned their business into temporary stages and gave a completely new appearance on Residenzstrasse.
The music festival was organized by Kirschendieb & Perlenscheumer Kulturprojekt and funded by the “Living Centers” program. Under the patronage of district councilor Korinna Stephan (B'90/Greens), the festival was a complete success and once again showed the musical and lively nature of the Reinickendorf district. The variety of music styles presented during the festival ranged from swing, folk, rock, pop, punk and chanson to Klezmer and Latin American and African music. The visitors danced, rocked and swayed to the sounds and enjoyed getting together as a community.
Especially in times when the world is shaken by conflicts in the Middle East and the division often seems present, the “Klangstraße” festival recalled how important togetherness is in a peaceful community. District City Councilor Korinna Stephan thanked all organizers and committed parties of the festival and emphasized the importance of neighborhood and peace in Reinickendorf.
The festival not only has cultural and musical effects on the area, but also economic. The temporary stages in the shops along Residenzstraße attracted visitors and increased the attention for the local shops. In addition, the festival strengthened Reinickendorf's reputation as a diverse and lively district of Berlin. It attracted visitors from outside and created a positive atmosphere in the entire area.
The "Klangstraße" festival is therefore not only a musical event, but also an event that strengthens the local community, boosts the economy and presents Reinickendorf as an attractive district of Berlin.
