Reinickendorf's musical talent: A look into the future

On Thursday, September 5, a remarkable meeting between the district mayor and the young musicians took place in the town hall of Reinickendorf, who took part in Lübeck on 61st national competition "Jugend music". This event is not only a triumph of the individual, but is also an important moment for the entire region, which is established as a talent smithy for the next generation of musicians.

In addition to the young musicians Pascal Georges, a 15-year-old organ player, and 12-year-old violoncellist Ferdinand Lepinat were also honored by the 37 participants from Berlin-Nord. All three received the maximum number of 25 and thus showed the high level of artistic talent in this region.

The meeting with the district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner offered the young artists the opportunity to share their exciting careers. Pascal Georges told about his passion for organ music and intensive training hours in a church in Frohnau, where he further refines his skills. He also constructed an electric organ himself, which underlines his creativity and commitment to music.

The impressive performance of these talents not only stands for their individual success, but also throws a light on the important role of municipal support for youth art. "It is impressive to see how much discipline and joy you invest in your art," remarked Demirbüken-Wegner, who is confident that these talents will still do a lot in the music world. To celebrate her success, she presented every musician a miniature edition of a fox, a symbol of the locally known fox parade in Reinickendorf.

This event is of far -reaching importance for the community. It shows how important it is to promote talented young people and offers an outlook on the cultural future of Reinickendorf. Such experiences not only inspire those directly participants, but also other young people in the region to explore and further develop their artistic talents.
