Ikw Reinickendorf 2024: Celebrate diversity and set against discrimination

The district office Reinickendorf calls for participation in the intercultural weeks (IKW) from 14.09. - 03.10.2024 to promote respectful coexistence and to set a visible sign against discrimination and racism. Various organizations such as the adult education center, the youth welfare office and the partnership for democracy are involved in the organization. Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner emphasizes the importance of the IKW as a permanent tradition in Reinickendorf and a sign of various and undivided society.

The IKW Reinickendorf 2024 start with the meeting party in cooperation with Gesobau on September 14th and end on October 3 with the day of the open mosques and the day of German unity. Reinickendorfer Initiatives, schools, clubs and migrant communities are invited to participate with their own events. Registrations for the program are possible until 09.06.2023.

The IKW offer a platform for exchange, networking and further education and set a positive sign of diversity and tolerance in the district.
