dr. Helmut Grill, who has belonged to the hundred-year-old club in Reinickendorf since May 12, was recently congratulated by district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU). The jubilee, father of four children and grandpa of five grandchildren, has had an eventful life story. He had to experience the horrors of the war up close, which did not prevent him from pursuing his life with determination.

After the war denied him the possibility of studying after his Abitur and he was amputated as a result of an injury, Dr. Grill Mittellos to the employment office. His professional career began as a phone call in Weimar, where he was drawn due to relatives. But his passion for numbers ultimately led him to work as an auditor in the state health office.
