A bright, beautiful Friday, November 8th, became an unforgettable experience for 33 senior citizens from Reinickendorf! District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) had invited her to a special autumn flight, which led to the heart of the largest pumpkin exhibition in Berlin-Brandenburg-to the idyllic asparagus Klaistow. Here, in the middle of bright orange -colored, funny -shaped pumpkins, an atmosphere was created full of joy and curiosity.

The talks gushed up during the 45-minute bus ride. A saying says that you get to know each other better when you experience something together. And this is exactly how the best encounters happen! The excitement was tangible when the group reached the goal and saw the impressive presentation of the different types of pumpkin - a true feast for the eyes!

In the middle of the colorful pumpkin fairy tale, the seniors found attractive motifs for photos that they will proudly present later in their families. But the experience not only ended with the pumpkins. Many of the participants discovered common interests and made an appointment for further meetings. It can be felt that this excursion was more than just a day outdoors - it was the beginning of new friendships!

On a cozy walk through the exhibition, the community became increasingly clear. Laughing, joking and sharing memories - that is what makes such occasions so special. A little excursion with a big impact! The senior citizens were not only allowed to enjoy the beauty of nature, but also discover the joy in the community.
