A special event is imminent to remind you of the tragic events in connection with the construction of the Berlin Wall. On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 4 p.m., a solemn wreath will take place at the Memorial Cross on Edelhofdamm / Oranienburger Chaussee in 13465 Berlin-Frohnau.

The event is organized jointly by the Reinickendorf district office, the district council and the municipality of Glienicke/Nordbahn. This gesture of commemoration is of great importance in order not to forget the victims of the Berlin Wall and the following years.

It is planned that the deputy district mayor of Reinickendorf, Uwe Brockhausen, and the mayor of the municipality of Glienicke/Nordbahn, Dr. Hans-Günther Oberlack, will speak when laying off. The ceremony is supported by the sponsorship company, the 7th company of the guard battalion at the Federal Ministry of Defense.
