Emotions in abundance! On November 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., Berlin becomes a reverent memories again. On a day that has a profound meaning for many of us, the Memorial Day is celebrated. Since 1922 we have commemorated the victims of violence and war, the people who have suffered from terrorism, political persecution, hatred or brutal violence.

But where does this commemoration take place? In the venerable war victim of war on Freiheitsweg 64 in Reinickendorf. A place that stimulates thinking and reminds us of the horrors of the past. It is not an easy day, but a necessary serious occasion to pause and reflect.
