Discover the art of freedom: Free creative workshops for Berlin students

In the youth art school atrium in Berlin-Reinickendorf, an exciting creative event is imminent: The "Kunst-Werkstatt experiment" invites pupils from the 8th to 12th classes of all secondary schools in Berlin to register free of charge by September 30, 2024

from November 4th to 8th, 2024, the young people have the opportunity to explore the topic of “freedom” in its own way. Under the direction of visual artists, art teachers and designers, you can research, discuss and implement the complexity of the term in more than 20 creative workshops. The City Councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) emphasizes the importance of this artistic experience.

The pupils are supported to work with unusual materials, tools and techniques in order to gain both artistic and social experiences. The results of your work will be presented in an exhibition in the Atrium Gallery from November 21, 2024.

The "Art Workshop Experiment" is organized by the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family in cooperation with the Atrium and the Reinickendorf district office. Interested parties can contact Claudia Güttner for more information, who heads the project.
