On Monday, May 27, 2024, the next BSR Kieztag takes place in cooperation with the Berlin city cleaning (BSR) and the Department of Order, Environment and Transport of the Reinickendorf district office. This time the action day will take place in the Wendehammer of Marzahnstrasse.
The BSR Kieztag offers residents the opportunity to emit bulky waste, electrical devices and old textiles free of charge. However, materials such as paints, colors, insulation materials and car tires are not accepted. There will also be the opportunity to get advice on correct waste management and to get into conversation in citizens' talks with the regulatory office and the district councilor Julia Schrod-Thiel (CDU).
The city councilor emphasizes the importance of the integrated exchange and gift market, which gives unused but well-preserved objects a second chance instead of simply disposing of them. As a result, the event significantly contributes to sustainability and promotes the exchange between neighbors.
