Reinickendorf District Office: New short profiles for social spaces published

The social space website of the Reinickendorf district office has just revised and updated all short profiles of the 36 planning rooms (quarters/neighborhoods) in the district. These short profiles contain important information about institutions, demography, social situation, living situation and social infrastructure. Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) hopes that the citizens of the district, as well as all interested parties from outside, will make plenty of use of this service. The planning space short profiles will be updated at the end of the year and can be called up at www.berlin.de/ba-reinickendorf/sozialraum/region-1002161.php.

The updated short profiles offer citizens a current overview of their living environment. They contain cards with important facilities and facts that help to better understand the social situation and infrastructure in the different districts. This can be of great benefit in particular for parents who are looking for daycare centers and schools. The short profiles are also a valuable source of information for new citizens who want to orient themselves in their new residential area.

The regular update of short profiles at the turn of the year ensure that the information is always up to date. This is particularly important because the social infrastructure and demographic situation of a district can change over time.

In the following table you will find an overview of the 36 planning rooms in the Reinickendorf district, as well as some of the information that can be found in the short profiles:

| Planning room | Demography | Important institutions |
| ————– | ———- | ———————— |
| 1 | … | … |
| 2 | … | … |
| … | … | … |
| 36 | … | … |

The social space website of the Reinickendorf district office thus offers an important service for the citizens of the district and enables them to find out more about their direct environment.
