Am Mittwoch, den 22. Mai 2024, wird die Ausstellung „still]a[life“ in der GalerieETAGE und im Museum Reinickendorf eröffnet. Exhibition Still] A [life: works of art arouse nature to life

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the exhibition "Still] A [Life" will open in the gallery floor and in the Reinickendorf Museum. The head of the art and history department in Reinickendorf, Dr. Sabine Ziegenrücker, welcomes the guests to the work of the five artists Angelika Arendt, Anna Lehmann-Brauns, Rona Kobel, Ulrike Kolb and Yasmin Alt.

The exhibition "Still] A [Life" brings together artistic positions that focus on the out -human environment and focus on objects of nature or the surrounding world of things. It is shown how time seems to stand still and things speak for themselves, apart from human influences. The exhibition addresses staged natural views, the resurrection of dead matter for new life and the timeless symbolism of frozen news.

In the accompanying program, an artist’s talk and a tour with Dr. Sabine Ziegenrücker and Claudia Wasow-Kania as well as on August 20, 2024 an aperitif and a curator tour with Dr. Sabine Ziegenrücker offered. The exhibition runs from May 23 to August 25, 2024, with opening times from Monday to Friday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
