Action day for biodiversity: Schrod-Thiel inspires in Berlin!

Reinickendorf, Deutschland - On May 23, 2025, a campaign day for biological diversity took place in Berlin-Mitte in front of the Museum of Natural History. District City Councilor for Order, Environment and Transport, Julia Schrod-Thiel (CDU), took part in the event. It was accompanied by services from the environmental and nature protection office as well as pupils from a primary school in Tegel. The aim of the action day was to make the variety of the flora and fauna of Berlin tangible for children and adults.

Julia Schrod-Thiel thanked the district coordination office for nature and environmental education, which had organized stands on insects, birds, mammals and urban trees. Together with the State Secretary for Climate Protection and the Environment, Britta Behrendt, and the general director of the museum, Professor Johannes Vogel, she found out about various environmental education projects from the museum.
