Interview with forensic doctors Michael Tsokos: Tabuth Make Death, mysterious death and teaching position in Hungary

The renowned forensic doctor Michael Tsokos, known for his work at the Berlin Charité, has given up the management of the Institute of forensic Medicine after 17 years. This decision was based on various reasons, including the political development of the Charité, which in his opinion was too politicized. Tsokos emphasized the importance of independent university medicine and criticized the neglect of student training in forensic medicine, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. These developments led to his decision to break new ground and possibly teach in Hungary.

In terms of forensic medicine, Tsokos has highlighted significant progress, such as hair analysis and computer tomographic examinations. These techniques have helped to solve complex cases, including the autopsy of victims of the Tsunamis 2004. With regard to old investigative files, Tsokos expressed his opinion on the deaths of Whitney Houston and Kurt Cobain. He expressed beliefs about the causes of these deaths and criticized the defective crime scene work in these cases.

tsokos also emphasizes the importance of proper corpses and demands better training for doctors who are involved in such examinations. He points out that many deaths in Germany are still overlooked, especially with homicides and questionable natural causes of death. The need for a more thorough investigation and clarification of such cases is considered urgent by Tsokos.
