In Berlin there is uncertainty about how transport policy should be designed specifically. However, the European Commission has emphasized that the bicycle traffic of the economy in the entire European Union offers enormous added value. The complexity of the requirements shows that Berlin needs a restart in terms of transport policy and has to leave the small small small. In order to promote cycling traffic, secure and coherent cycling networks should be established, the charging infrastructure is expanded and secure parking spaces for e-bikes and e-mopeds are created.
