The Russian private army Wagner has given the Russian Ministry of Defense, according to official information, handed over heavy weapons, military equipment and thousands of tons of ammunition. Igor Konaschenkow, spokesman for the ministry, announced that there are also tank of type T-90 and T-80, multiple rocket launchers and numerous artillery systems. In addition, 2500 tons of ammunition of various types and 20,000 firearms were cast. The handover of the weapons was documented in a video published by the military management.
The entire military equipment is now being waited and then fed "of their destination", says Konaschenkow. According to a telegram message from the Ministry of Defense, the Wagner units that fought in Ukraine were disarmed.
The Wagner Army was active against Ukraine during the Russian war war, which had been going on for more than 16 months and repeatedly conquered new areas. The city of Bachmut was also included. However, mercenary chief Jewgeni Prigoschin led an uprising against Moscow last month, which he broke off after only 24 hours on the mediation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukaschenko. In return, Prigoschin received impunity for himself and his people.
